Exit Strategies

Employees leave an organisation for a variety of reasons such as redundancy, resignation, dismissal or mutual agreement.

We can assist in areas such as consultation for redundancy or advising on the correct procedure for dismissal. The current legislation relating to age discrimination requires a particular procedure to be followed in the event of an employee retiring. This is another area where we can help.

If a high number of resignations is causing concern, techniques such as exit interviews or questionnaires can help to uncover some of the real reasons why employees are leaving.

In some exit situations, a more complex legal document - a Compromise Agreement - may be required and we have an association with Employment Lawyers who will work with our clients to write and action such a document.
